सेठ रघुनंदन प्रसाद सर्राफ ने 1918 में यह आभूषण की दुकान शुरू की थी जब वे मात्र 17 वर्ष के थे। उनका उद्देश्य था ग्राहकों को ईमानदारी और शुद्धता से भरे सोने के गहने देना — जो उस समय अन्य ज्वेलर्स नहीं करते थे।
यह उनकी ईमानदारी और सच्चाई ही थी, जिसकी बदौलत यह व्यवसाय आज 107 वर्षों से भी अधिक पुराना है और पूरे उत्तर भारत में फैला हुआ है। हज़ारों ग्राहक आज भी इस पुरानी दुकान से जुड़े हुए हैं।
रवि प्रकाश अग्रवाल
वर्तमान में यह दुकान उनके पुत्र रवि प्रकाश अग्रवाल द्वारा संचालित की जा रही है, जो IIT मुंबई से इंजीनियर हैं।
वे मेरठ में ज्वेलर्स एसोसिएशन के 6 वर्षों तक अध्यक्ष रह चुके हैं और अब संरक्षक हैं। इसके साथ ही वे ऑल इंडिया जेम एंड ज्वेलरी डोमेस्टिक काउंसिल (GJC) के 21 बोर्ड सदस्यों में से एक हैं, जिसे भारत सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त है।
